Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessor

This Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessor course is directed at those who wish to carry out risk assessments on Visual Display Units (VDU) or Display Screen Equipment (DSE) workstations in line with the requirements of Chapter 5, Part 2 of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007. The course is delivered by qualified health and safety professionals, who have a broad range of experience in carrying out risk assessments and ergonomics training.

Course Methodology & Assessment

The course will be presented in a modular format, which includes group discussion/interaction and practical skills. Assessments during the course are on-going, with the tutor assessing each participant’s ability to carry out DSE assessments.

The recommended maximum number of learners on the course is 8.

Course Duration

One day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with refreshment breaks.

Entry Criteria

No previous qualifications are required for learners to participate in the course.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a DSE Assessor Certificate from EMS & Associates.

Booking a course creates a legally binding contract between EMS and Associates and the client.

Courses must be booked and paid for online. A confirmation notification will be automatically sent to the email address provided.

In the event of EMS & Associates cancelling a course, due to unforeseen circumstances, learners will either be accommodated on another course or get a full refund, whichever is agreed by all parties. In the event of a client cancelling a course, 50% of the fee will apply if the cancellation is up to 48 hours before the course. After 48 hours the full fee of 100% will apply.
