Under current legislation, it is the legal responsibility of occupiers of a building to prepare and publish Emergency Response Plans.
The Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is part of a structured and proactive intervention to any incident or situation that poses an immediate risk to health, life, property or the environment. The ERP is prepared in support of the overall health and safety management strategies of the company.
Our Emergency Response Planning Course provides participants with the knowledge to enable them to ensure that the ERP is executed in a timely and effective manner.
The course will be presented in a modular format, which includes problem-based learning and practical skills. Assessments of the learners are carried out through the tutor’s observations of their engagement on the course and their participation in the practical skills sessions.
The recommended maximum number of learners on the course is 8.
One day with refreshment breaks provided.
No previous qualifications are required for learners to participate in the course.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an Emergency Response Certificate from EMS & Associates.
