The Fire Safety Awareness course is aimed at raising participants’ awareness of the fire risks on their premises and the simple measures that can be taken to eliminate them. Fire safety is an integral part of the safety management of any building. The impact of a fire on a business or organisation can be devastating. Learners gain knowledge that will increase their confidence so that, in the case of an emergency, they can react correctly and safely.
Course Methodology & Assessment
The course will be presented in a modular format, which includes problem-based learning and practical skills. Assessments of the learners are carried out through the tutor’s observations of their engagement on the course and their participation in the practical skills sessions.

No previous qualifications are required for learners to participate in the course.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Fire Safety Information Certificate from EMS & Associates. All course tutors hold a third-level qualification in Health & Safety.
