The Risk Assessment Training course is designed for those who have health and safety responsibilities and who need to be aware of hazards in the workplace and how to assess them in order to reduce associated risks. The Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005 states that every employer must have a written risk assessment of those risks. This course teaches participants how to carry out risk assessments in a format that suits their business.

Assessments of the learners are carried out by the course tutor through observations of their group work/practical skills and their engagement and participation on the course.
The minimum number of learners on the course is 6; the maximum number of learners is 12.
One half-day with a 15-minute refreshment break
No previous qualifications are required for learners to participate in the course.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance from EMS & Associates.
