First Aid Essentials – Paediatric First Aid

Our Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Essentials - Paediatric First Aid course is designed to provide learners with a basic first aid skill set, including Cardiac First Response - Community (CFR-C).

Learners develop the knowledge and practical skills to assess and manage an infant or child who becomes suddenly ill or injured in the pre-hospital environment until the arrival of emergency medical services. The course is delivered by appropriately qualified instructors on the training faculty of EMS & Associates, a PHECC Approved Training Institution.

Course Methodology & Assessment

Skills Demonstrations:

Learners are formally assessed on practical skills throughout, or at the end of the course using the PHECC CFR Community and First Aid Essentials skills assessment sheets
